About
Impactly Media reads the Medicare mail so it does not have to be filed unread
Medicare, decoded before you decide. The service follows published plan documents and Medicare's published rules, then sends plain-language text updates about what appears to have changed and where the official detail can be read.
What we publish
Two things. Articles on this website that explain the vocabulary of Medicare in the order it usually comes up, and a text message programme that sends short updates to the mobile number you give us.
Messages may include, but are not limited to, Medicare plan information, enrollment period reminders, alerts when a plan changes its costs, network or drug list, and replies to messages you send us. The same open description is used in the consent disclosure beside the checkbox, on the text updates page and in the TCPA Policy, so the three always say the same thing.
Nothing published here is a determination of your eligibility, your benefits or your coverage, and nothing here is legal, tax, medical or financial advice. For anything that affects a decision, the plan's own documents and the official Medicare resources named in the footer are the sources to rely on.
How it is written
The rules the writing follows
Say where it came from
Anything specific enough to act on is tied to the document it came from, whether that is a plan's own materials or Medicare's published rules. A text message is short, so it points rather than paraphrases.
Hedge what varies
Availability, benefits, costs, networks and eligibility vary by plan and by location, and they change. Writing as though they are fixed would be faster and would be wrong, so the language says may, often and typically when that is the honest word.
Leave the decision alone
The goal is that you understand what changed and where to read more. What you do next is a decision about your own doctors, prescriptions and budget, and it belongs to you.

What happens to the details you give us
- The consent box on the form is never pre-selected, never bundled with another agreement, and kept apart from acceptance of the Terms.
- Consent to receive text messages is not required to purchase any goods or services.
- No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Replying STOP removes the number from the programme, and replying HELP returns information about it. You can also ask us to remove a number by email.
The full detail is in the Privacy Policy and the TCPA Policy.
